The side menu bar

The main menu is always there when you need to get to another part of the app.

On the iPhone, tap the three white horizontal bars at bottom left of the screen to reveal the menu.

On the iPad, the menu is usually visible in the left part of the screen, though you can collapse it by dragging the left edge of the main window to the left.
